Macaroni Schotel (Macaroni Casserole)

Bahan
  • 250 gr Macaroni, 1 st Pala bubuk, 1 st Mustard
  • 1½ lt Air mendidih+1 sm Garam, 2 st Lada bubuk
  • 2 Bawang putih-haluskan, 2 st Garam1 st Gula
  • 5 Telur-kocok, 1 st Kaldu bubuk, 2 sm Olive oil
  • 3 sm Terigu,2 sm Mentega, 2 sm Panir-topping
  • 2 sm Tomat pasta, 600 ml Krim2 Daun salam
  • 200 gr Keju Mozzarella, 250 gr Daging cincang
  • 1 Bawang bombay & 150 gr Daging asap-iris
  • 200 gr Keju cheddar/parmesan parut

Cara membuat
  • Panaskan oven 190°C. Rebus macaroni di air mendidih+garam sampai ¾ matang. Angkat, tiriskan & sisihkan
  • Sementara itu, tumis bawang putih, bombay, daging asap, daging & daun salam dengan olive oil. Sisihkan
  • Panaskan mentega hingga cair, beri terigu, aduk cepat, tuang krim sedikit2 sambil diaduk. Masukkan keju, tomat pasta, mustard, gula, garam, lada, pala, kaldu & tumisan daging. Masak hingga keju leleh. Angkat dari api, buang salam lalu masukkan telur satu2 & aduk. Masukkan macaroni, aduk rata.
  • Olesi loyang dengan mentega lalu taburi panir. Tuang adonan ke dalamnya. Beri keju mozzarella di atas adonan. Panggang adonan selama ± 20 menit. Keluarkan dari oven, taburi panir, panggang lagi 10 menit/sampai kecokelatan.

Ingredients
  • 250 gr long Macaroni, 1½ lt boiling Water+1 tbsp Salt
  • 150 gr Smoked beef & 1 Onion-sliced, 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 250 gr Minced Beef2 Garlic cloves-grind, 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Pepper, 200 gr Cheddar/Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Broth powder, 2 Bay Leaves, 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 5 Eggs-beaten, 1 tsp Mustard, 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 600 ml Cream, 200 gr Mozzarella cheese-for Topping
  • 1 tsp ground Nutmeg, 3 tbsp Flour, 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Sugar

Directions
  • Preheat oven to 190°C. Cook macaroni in boiling water until ¾ cooked. Remove from heat & drain. Set it aside
  • Sauté garlic, onion, smoked beef, beef & bay leaves with olive oil. Set it aside.
  • Heat butter until it melts; put in the flour & stir quickly. Pour the cream in, a little at a time; stir constantly. Add in grated cheese, tomato paste, mustard, sugar, salt, pepper, nutmeg, broth powder & sautéed meet. Cook until the cheese melts. Remove from heat & discard bay leaves. Add in eggs once at a time; stir constantly. Put in macaroni, stir well.
  • Grease a baking dish & sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place batter into the baking dish. Cover with mozzarella cheese. Bake for ~ 20 minutes. Remove from the oven & sprinkle macaroni with breadcrumbs. Bake again for 10 minutes (until golden brown).
