Asem-Asem Daging (Sour Beef Stew)


In Indonesian & English
Bahan
-  400 gr Daging-ptg2 tipis, 700 ml Air  -  25 gr Gula jawa, 1 st Kaldu sapi bbk
-  2 cm Lengkuas-geprek, 2 Dn. salam    -  4 Tomat-potong kecil2 (kalau ada tomat hijau)
-  2 st Air asam, 1 st Air jeruk nipis      -  50 gr Buncis-ptg2, 4 Cabai merah-iris serong
-  3 sm Kecap, 4 st Garam, Minyak          -  4 Bawang putih & 8 Bawang merah-haluskan

Cara membuat
-   Tumis bumbu hls & cabai. Beri air asam, nipis, kecap, garam dan gula jawa. Aduk rata.
-   Masukkan air, daging, kaldu, lengkuas & salam. Masak sampai bumbu meresap & air berkurang. Beri potongan tomat dan buncis, masak sebentar.

Ingredients
-  400 gr Beef-thinly sliced, 700 ml Water   -  25 gr Palm/Coconut sugar, 1 tsp Broth pwd
-  2 cm Galangal-crushed, 2 Bay leaves          -  4 Tomato-small dice cut
-  2 tsp Tamarind juice, 1 tsp Lime juice       -  50 gr Beans-small cut, Frying fat
-  3 tbsp sweet Soy sauce, 4 tsp Salt            -  4 cloves Garlic & 8 Shallots-grind
-  4 Red chilies-sliced (option)

Directions
-   Sauté ground spices & chilies. Add in tamarind juice, lime juice, soy sauce, salt & palm sugar. Stir until combine.
-   Put in water, beef, broth pwd, galangal & bay leaves. Cook until the flavor blended & the gravy reduced. Add in the tomato & beans; cook for awhile.
